Embracing Allah’s Plan: My Journey of Faith Without a Child

Date:

Translate: I had an intense longing for children. Throughout my life, I endured remarks and taunts. I even pleaded, wishing for just one child, because I had heard that the gaze of a true saint could change destinies. I thought, “If Baba Ji says so, then I might even have two or three children—just start with one.” But, as they wisely put it, “Beta Baba, what is destined for you will come to you, and what is not, even a saint cannot grant.” They said this in a settled and truthful way because, indeed, a friend of Allah knows and is aware of whether one is destined to have children or not. They did not give me false hopes like others might, saying, “You will have a son, or a daughter, or four children.” Not at all. They simply stated, “What is in your destiny, you will receive.” The best part is that they freed me from all those frustrations.
