Syed Baba Jaan says: Do not underestimate the act of reciting Allah’s name three times in your heart before drinking water. When you present yourself before Allah, think about how you share a problem with your parents or an elder. Will they simply respond with a nonchalant “Okay, okay, fine,” and then ignore it? Or will they just glance over your concern? No, they will make it a priority, knowing their child is in trouble. Parents don’t just forget about such things; they actively seek solutions. They’ll talk to one person, then another, in an effort to find a resolution. This is similar to how Allah, our real Master and Lord, the true Beloved and our ultimate Friend, functions. When you have confided in Him, why worry? He won’t forget. He is the entity to whom you entrust your concerns.
