If it is one-sided, then it is infidelity. It is the self (nafs), greed, and selfishness. Worship is a two-way relationship. Allah calls you His finest creation. Have we ever acknowledged that Allah is the greatest, the most exalted? This is two-way love. So, when love makes the impossible possible, it’s because love is a mutual affection. Don’t love someone just to prove that you have great love within you. No, no. Beware of the dangers of hypocrisy. Remember, do not engage in insincerity.
