A follower of Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA) shares a deeply personal spiritual transformation after consistently listening to Surah Rehman.
She explains that earlier, during every salah she would carry a long list of wishes and demands.
In every prayer she would repeatedly remind Allah of the duas and her wishes and demands, hoping they would be fulfilled exactly the way she wanted.
But slowly, as she continued listening to Surah Rehman and spreading its message, something within her heart began to change.
A deep thehrao (inner calm and stillness) started developing inside her.
Gradually she realized that she no longer repeats long lists of demands. The wishes remain quietly in her heart, but now her prayer has changed. Instead of insisting, she simply surrenders and says:
“Ya Allah, if this is best for me, please make it happen.”
With this change came peace.
No frustration.
No complaints.
No disappointment.Because she now believes with certainty that Allah knows what is best and that His decisions are far greater than human understanding.
This spiritual reflection shows how the message and faiz of Surah Rehman can slowly transform the heart — turning anxiety into calm, demands into surrender and uncertainty into deep trust in Allah’s wisdom.
Sometimes the greatest miracle is not the fulfillment of our wishes… but the peace that comes from trusting Allah completely.
